Rachel schmidt

Rachel Schmidt is beginning her first season as a high school coach with the Eastview Lightning. 

Rachel comes to Eastview highly recommended from her time as an athlete. Rachel played her four high school years at Mayer Lutheran High School where she was an All-State player and All-Conference Selection. She played her club seasons at Mizuno Northern Lights Volleyball Club. She then went to play Division 1 volleyball at the University of South Dakota. During her time there, she helped South Dakota win its first regular season title, conference title, and NCAA D1 Tournament berth.

Rachel is currently coaching at Northern Lights Volleyball Club as the 18-1s assistant coach. She helped lead them to an impressive 31-11 record. She also was selected to assist with two other age groups. 

Rachel is excited to join us this season and we are excited to use all of her knowledge to grow our athletes!
