9A Head Coach
Becky Egan returns to the Eastview High School volleyball staff in a different role as the 9A Head Coach. We are thrilled and excited to have such a talented leader impact our players as freshman at Eastview.
Becky Egan was the head coach at Eastview High School for 11 years over the course of her career. The Lightning made their only trip to the MSHSL state tournament under her reign in 2008, finishing as the AAA runner up. She also serves as the co-head strength coach at the school. She spent four seasons as the Volleyball Club Director and the head coach of the Eastview Athletic Association U14 team. She also was an assistant coach at Concordia from 2000 until taking the Eastview High School job. She also had a short stint of head coaching at Hamline University but ultimately left to return back to Eastview High School.
Becky has four children, two of which played as All-Conference athletes in the Eastview volleyball program. Her youngest is going into his senior year at Eastview High School and her oldest was a baseball player at the University of Minnesota. She is looking forward to mentoring young athletes again on the court while still being able to watch her children play the sports they love.
